airborne and so, for months, people were told to wash their hands like crazy and we gave people false assurance that that would mitigate the spread. his primary job is to fund research. we didn t see that research with natural immunity, with school universal masking. and with many of the blanket recommendations like boosting young people. so, that is, i think, the primary failure of dr. fauci. now, he has had some contributions in public health over the last 50 years and even during covid i think he did encourage high risk people to get vaccinated and warned seniors of the risk of the virus and both of those were valuable contributions. i want to get you both to weigh in about the risk going forward. obviously there is an uptick in rsv especially among children, respiratory infections there are efforts to, in some place, dr. siegel, put mask mandates back in. where do you see this going going forward looking into the crystal ball? i don t like the mandates. and i never have.
