We are in prospect garden here in princeton new jersey. This is the card and allen wilson designed when she was a resident of Prospect House when wilson was in the white house. She brings a white house gardener back here to this garden at Prospect House. She says to the white house gardener lets recreate the section of this garden at the white house and of course this is the famous rose garden at the white house. Allen tragically doesnt live to see the rose garden completed however. She is dying in the summer of 1914. She is wheeled out into the space in a wheelchair and she watches as the gardener works. She doesnt live to see the completion of this vision she had for the roses blooming the white house. I also just received a huge honor of being selected National High School Principal of the year. Worcester is the second largest city in new england and worcester tech this the largest high school in a city. With 1400 students in 24 different tactical programs within for small learning communities. 63 of our students qualify for free or reduced lunch, 19 our special ed and ethnic background reflects the citys demographics. We were the lowest performing high school in our city and one of the poorest performing vocational schools in our state. Presently we have a 92 first time passing rate in englishlanguage arts, 84 in math, 96 insights, and last year 96. 4 of our students graduate in four years. The achievement gap has decreased significantly and in some groups it is nonexistent. Students who prepare for success with a rigorous curriculum including a variety of advanced placement courses that combines academic with handson experience in school and the workplace through internship and co
