If you, or someone you know, are between the ages of 14 and 21 and happen to be looking for a job this summer, the City of Buffalo s Youth Paid Internship program is now accepting applications.
The City of Buffalo is looking to hire around 3,000 youth and young adults this summer to work at different sites around the area. The jobs are available due to a partnership between different organizations, private companies, the Buffalo Employment Training Center, and the New York State Department of Labor.
Starting on July 12th, people who are accepted into the internship program will participate in 6 weeks of in-person and virtual employment, job training, and work readiness activities. Pay starts at $12.50 per hour and will work approximately 20 hours per week.
