In its almost-decade of existence, the Carroll High School Foundation has distributed more than $100,000 for events, projects and materials to students in the four buildings of the Carroll Community School District.
Early in the current school year, the non-profit foundation made a high-profile donation of face shields with masking to students and faculty.
âWe have taken time over the last five years to grow our organization,â said Shellie Haluska, CHS Foundation president. âWe are on the edge of making a consistent impact to the Carroll Community School District.â
Haluska leads a 13-person board that is academics focused. The foundation is behind, for example, a drone project at CHS and computer equipment at Adams Elementary.
