All lanes of Farm Road 2140 open at Highway 37 Barry County Farm Road 2140 at Missouri Route 37 south of Butterfield was fully reopened as of noon on April 28. Both lanes of Farm Road 2140 were closed at Route 37 to allow contractor crews to widen Route 37 and add center turn lane. The work is part of a larger project to make roadway improvements along Missouri Route 37 between Monett and the Missouri/Arkansas state line. Jenkins Bridge Foundation group hosting duck race The Jenkins Bridge Foundation is sponsoring a “Fun Day at the Bridge” at the historic bridge from 2-5 p.m. Saturday. The day will include duck races, a music jam session, food, games and water fun. Duck chances can be purchased for $5 each or three for $10 from Foundation members, on the “Save the Jenkins Bridge” Facebook page or on the day of the race.
