The City University of New York is launching CUNY Online, a new online education initiative tasked with producing high-quality online courses and programs and building online degree capacity across the institution.
After an extensive nationwide search, the NYU School of Professional Studies(NYU SPS) today announced the appointment of Marc Norman as associate dean of its Schack Institute of Real Estate, effective July 1, 2022. A renowned urban planner and a veteran in the field of community development and finance, Norman will focus the Schack Institute.
In a winter 2020 seminar on educational inequality, Jacob Jordan (SESP ’20, School of Professional Studies M.A. ’21) learned access to books for young children in underserved communities was a strong determinant of whether they would graduate college. Jordan returned to his hometown in Maine in March 2020 as the pandemic sent most Northwestern students.
