CHILDREN at Craigmarloch School are thriving as they enjoy the benefits of their sensory garden. The garden has thrived during the pandemic, as staff were told to do as much learning outside as possible for safety reasons. Six staff members worked last summer preparing areas in the sensory garden to be used for small group learning and lots of progress has been made since then. Ruth Bennett, the school s outdoor learning group, said: We have a willow tree room with pallet benches made and painted by senior pupils. There is a circle room under the canopy which the drama department use along with most other classes and a builders corner for digging in the mud and having messy fun.
