A Fenland schoolâs headteacher was given a low-key farewell as he retired after more than 20 years in the post at the end of term.
Graham Lockwood who has been in charge at Elm Road Primary School in Wisbech retired on Thursday (17) and was given a quiet send off by staff and children due to the ongoing pandemic and social distancing rules.
Mr Lockwood, in a newsletter to parents, described his time at the school as enjoyable and said: âIt does not seem possible that is 20 years since I came to Elm Road but they do say time flies when you are enjoying yourself.â
