Something could finally be cooking at shuttered Dunbar-Pulaski Middle School, if an Illinois food company is successful in its bid for a rezone from the city. Amazing American Food Inc., bought the vacant school from the Gary Community School Corp. for $35,000 in August.
Mary Washington-Jones and Tony Wilson died Feb. 27 about a quarter mile away from the Gary middle school were they first met in what authorities have ruled a murder-suicide.
