The lastingness of each person’s reality as male or female is so integral to the faith’s architecture, that to deny it even to equivocate about it is to undermine Catholic faith itself. No Catholic institution should risk that effect.
When a rising third-grade girl at the School of the Incarnation in the Catholic Archdiocese of Baltimore announced last Summer that she was a “transgender boy,” the school could have said to her that it is not so that no boy is trapped in a girl’s body, or vice versa. The truth is that each of us
her certificate of membership to the national honor society. a student at faith christian academy in orlando, florida. and she is in trouble tonight with school authorities because of her hair. because of an interview, the school wants vanessa to cut or straighten or shape her hair or be expelled. it s puffy. i like it that way. people will tease me about it. it is not straight. i don t fit in. wkmg s story went viral today. and the school is on the defensive. the school gave a staement to tement to the local tv station saying we are not asking her to put product in her hair or cut her hair, we are asking her to style her within the guidelines according to the school handbook. that handbook says, quote, hair

club platform is contrary to the liberty university. what s so wrong with the democratic party platform? gay rights, gay rights! gerry fall well university has a jerry falwell high school called the liberty christian academy. how do you think gay students are faring at the liberty christian high school? turns out they re not there. at least officially they re not there. according to the official school handbook, liberty christian academy does not employ or accept students who are homosexual. that s for the high school. for the university, it is more complicated and wonderful. try to make sense of this. in its employment practices, the school of law does not discriminate on the basis of sexual orientation but does discriminate on the basis of homosexual conduct. how do they know?
bless you in his class and if they do, he knocks 25 points off the grades. he says it has nothing to do with religion but everything to do with discipline. you have a son. what would happen if you found his teacher would take points off if a kid sneezed and he said god bless you. kberly: i d be upset. mom being a catholic. it s courteous, nice to say, appropriate. i don t understand how they justify this. this activism to say they will take your grade down because you re being respectful to someone. where is that in the school handbook, how is that appropriate? eric: what do you think, greg? greg: it s just one guy. it s so absurd i swear i thought we made it up. kimberly: real story. greg: i haven t seen a picture of this guy. eric: let s do that. comment after the clip of the guy. it s not got anything to do with religion. it s got to do with an interruption of class time.
