Certainly tell you what we saw long before we arrived here with this geyser like scene behind us here off grant avenue and blue grass road. Water spewing into the air at least 200 feet or so during the height of this water main break. It started about 7 00 oclock this evening according to the philadelphia Water Department. They have been on the scene ever since. Some four hours later now trying to find this break and contain this break. Now, we were able to speak with a spokesperson from the Water Department a short time ago. He says this fight despite this seen it is not affecting the water supply of any of the homes ound this area. Heres what he had to say to us just a few moments ago. Pretty much were getting shut off as quickly as we can. While in the process were able to maintain Water Service for other customers if case we have to begin turning other valves off to fine the proper location for this valve.
