Authorities are telling me that orange glow is coming from the napa county side. The concern why they told folks to evacrate, theres fears it jumps over the mountain into the Solano County area, hence why folks need to evacuate. We have video from overnight our crews got. Were very concerned about the fire in guyserville and in Sonoma Valley like you mentioned so were urging residents if they have received an Evacuation Order to please gather their belongings and leave if its a mandatory evacuation and if anyone has been issued a mandatory evacuation do not return home because its not safe. Heres alexis. Taking a look at the roads this morning, we dont have any major problems. We are looking at heavy traffic on westbound 80 through the emeryville stretch. Now, last night when we had the fires in the vallejo area getting close to 80, caltrans was avoiding trucks to avoid that stretch of 80. They could use 580 through oakland. That is no longer the case, so those restrictions are back on. Youll have to stick to 80 and interstate 880 if you are in a semi here and heading out on the roads this morning. james james flames are forcing more evacuations in sonoma. Neighbors had to leave the area around sonoma square. The north bay fires are only getting worse as firefighters struggle with containment. Im dan ashley. The death toll from the many fires affecting Northern California has gone up once again. The Sonoma County sheriff said 17 people have died there. That makes 31 victims in Northern California. More than 1,000 people have reported loved ones missing. The sheriff said 745 people have been located safely. More than 25,000 people remain evacuated but some orders are slowly being lifted. The director of cal fire said every fire burning in the state received an influx of new resources today. Allowing many firefighters to get muchneeded rest. While last nights expected dry winds did not materialize, firefighters are still dealing with very active fire behavior, and theyre worried about it.
