East boston, if you look behind us, it is still sealed off at this hour. Crime scene tape wrapped around the area here. All this while the confrontation is still under investigation at this hour. Boston Police Responding to what they thought was a routine Domestic Violence call. When they were greeted with gunfire. Chaos overnight here in east boston. After Police Responded to a domestic disturbance call just before 11 00 last night. Which is 33yearold Kirk Figueroa. As they entered his home at 136 gladstone street. At that time, we heard officers screaming on the radio. A 303. Which signifies shots fired and an officer down. Reporter two veteran Police Officers both shot multiple times were pulled from the firefight by other officers exchanging gunfire with figueroa who lived in the house.
