Perhaps more importantly america s Civic Engagement is at an alltime low. Public trust in government remains near historic lows, particularly with our nations young people. Less than half of millennials are voting and only 18 of the public trusts leaders in washington to do the right thing. This creates a vicious cycle Many Americans are dissatisfied with their government, yet, still fail to vote because they believe their voices will not be heard. The good news, is that across the country we can find inspiring activists, policymakers, educators, and others who are turning apathy into action.
