The sergeant says she left the fourmonthold child in the car with the car running and picked up a to go order from taco bell. When she came out, her car and baby were gone. Somebody rode up on a scooter, drove up and took off. Theres limited security video but enough to make out that hes a man with a medium build wearing a gray sweatshirt and blue vest. Its a fourdoor 2018 honda accord, metallic dark gray, license plate 8egl 341. The suspect allegedly dropped the baby off a few minutes later at the corner of 28th and union streets in oakland. A Good Samaritan called police about an infant left unharmed on the sidewalk. The baby was checked out by medical staff. No injuries. Shes in good health.
