Hi marcus. Reporter good morning, rob. Behidden me, the bullet hit porch that that girl was standing on when the shooting started in broad daylight. Last night, hours after the shooting, police still on the scene, towing away a vehicle with shotout windows, searching for additional evidence as the investigation continues. This was a drivebyshooting and its believed the driver of the car opened fire. The 6yearold girl who was shot was struck in the leg. A 24yearold man was shot and killed. He was pronounced dead at the hospital. A third person, a woman, was grazed on the knee and treated at the scene. Residents say enough is enough. Im really outraged with it. I think they need to put the cameras back up here on this block like they used to have and not just have patrols for the next couple days because you guys are here, but get us foot patrol because now its a child. I have in the past witnessed both eddie ahn and miguel in the community doing the things that they do as far as touching the community. I personally believe they are passionate and committed, they understand what the committee is about, the ccds purpose when it comes to housing, Work Force Development and economics and when you are on a body that kind of makes decisions on budgets its really important that people understand the need of the community and help to support the decisions so that the community actually gets the right and proper resources. So its been, i think, like two months since the new appointments have occurred and the committee has been moving forward, its been progressive, the budgets are out. I find it to be very progressive like seems like were actually able to get things done on this committee with them
