Cyclist dies after colliding with truck in north Fort Collins A cyclist was killed Wednesday morning after his bicycle collided with the side of a pickup truck in north Fort Collins. Fort Collins Police Services said in a release the crash happened around 9 a.m. at the intersection of Jerome Street and Vine Drive, which is just north of the Poudre River Whitewater Park.  The adult male cyclist from Fort Collins was travelling south on Jerome Street, turned right onto Vine Drive and collided with the passenger side of a 2014 Ram 2500 pickup truck traveling west on Vine Drive. The cyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the truck was uninjured. He is from Fort Collins.
