It sounds like a romcom plot or the start of a cheesy novel.
But, it s not. Marriage Pact, a matchmaking company made by students for students, has come to the University of Florida.
What is Marriage Pact?
First created by Stanford University students in 2017 as part of an economics class, Marriage Pact is a 10-minute questionnaire built from psychology, market theory and computer science that can be used at any university.
The survey is open to undergraduate students for a set amount of time, usually a week or two, before closing. A computer then runs all the responses and pairs people based on their answers to questions about politics, religion, alcohol, drugs, sexual preferences and more.
