Police are investigating after two young women woke to find a man touching them inappropriately during separate break-ins of the same Sunshine Coast home.

A Queensland Fire and Emergency Services spokesman said crews rushed to Tanawha Tourist Dr and Mannikin Rd in Tanawha after they were called to scene about 11.05pm. Photo: Patrick Woods He said the firefighters reported a derelict building was fully-involved in flames and the roof had collapsed shortly after. Crews worked to extinguish hot spots in the building as they continued to flare up, but were able to get the fire under control.

Subscriber only A Sunshine Coast woman has been charged after she was allegedly caught driving under the influence by police. A Queensland Police Service spokesman said officers had responded to concerned calls from the public regarding a driver in the Beerburrum area about 5.50pm.
