SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - The Savannah-Chatham County Public School board will meet Wednesday and hear a report on how the bi-weekly in-person hybrid learning model is going in the second semester of learning.
The school district adopted the hybrid learning model at the last board of education meeting last month.
WTOC spoke with Associate Superintendent Bernadette Ball-Oliver about the feedback they’ve been getting from families and teachers, and she tells us it’s largely good.

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - Savannah-Chatham County Public School System students have officially returned to their classrooms for hybrid learning, but how theyâve returned looks a bit different for safety.
âThings are going well, the biggest issue probably right now for us is getting people in the building as quickly as possible, when it comes to take in, getting them home making sure that the right mask is getting into the right mask with the car, you know, those are the logistics that we concern ourselves with,â Jacob G. Smith Elementary Principal Vernon Cole said.

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - On Monday Savannah-Chatham County Public Schools joined others across the nation to celebrate the achievements and accomplishments of Career, Technical & Agricultural Education or CTAE for Career and Technical Education Month.
The drive-through parade gave them a chance to simply say thank you to all the teachers who have gone above and beyond this year. But the curbside event wasn’t just for teachers.
