法律界人士认为，快递保价纠纷多发的根源在于涉事快递企业往往适用自身制定的理赔标准，在货物发生损失后，缺少科学合理的评估机制，最终无法就保价金额与消费者达成一致。按《快递暂行条例》规定，快件延误、丢失、损毁或者内件短少的，对保价快件，应当按照经营快递业务的企业与寄件人约定的保价规则确定赔偿责任。据了解，快递保价是寄件用户针对寄递物品向快递公司声明其真实价值并支付一定比率的费用后，快递公司向用户提供的一种增值服务。在快递站点随机采访时，不少市民表示“不知道什么是快递保价” ，或是“没用过快递保价” 。
