“Skincare requires highly sophisticated solutions”, Bertrand Lasserre, Thépenier
Interview by Vincent Gallon Share:
Thépenier Pharma & Cosmetics (TP&C), the historic site of Japanese group Nippon Shikizai in France, boasts specific skills which make it very independent within the group. If Nippon Shikizai is a globally renowned makeup expert, TP&C is mainly a key player on the water-based skincare and makeup segments: the site of pharmaceutical grade is focused on oral care, clean beauty and skincare innovation. Over the past few years, the Normandy-based TP&C site was extensively modernized: over 13 million euros have been invested since 2015, including in a new, fully automated high-speed white room filling unit for pasty products. Since 2014, the turnover has more than doubled, and despite the slowdown, the company still achieved growth in 2020. We met CEO Bertrand Lasserre and R&D Director Virginie Barville.
