Network to lobby for green investments launched

A network seeking to address environmental degradation in the country through attracting green investments in various sectors was launched in Kampala on Friday last week.
Called the Inclusive Green Economy Network - East Africa (IGEN-EA), the network is comprises Ugandan and East African civil society and private sector leaders from the clean renewable energy, small-scale agriculture, tourism, fisheries and agro-forestry sectors.
