The latest episode of the SBS drama reached 16 percent, breaking its own highest ratings for three consecutive as cited by Nielsen Korea.
Moreover, Taxi Driver episode 3 scored a nationwide average of 13.6 percent and 14.5 percent in the Seoul metropolitan area.
This means that the action thriller series landed first place among dramas for its time slot and said to be tremendous progress since its debut.
To recall, the much anticipated evening drama starring Lee Je-Hoon and Esom started off with a positive response from the viewer after reaching an 8.7 percent nationwide rating and 10.7 percent for its two parts.
According to reports, KBS 2TV is planning to air the first episode of "Dear.M" in August. KBS 2TV's upcoming K-drama "Dear. M" is reported to be in talks to premiere in August.

On April 16, Star News reported that KBS (Korean Broadcasting System) has decided to stop airing new drama series every Wednesday and Thursday for approximately three months, starting from mid-June to early September.

The Korean media outlet stated that the television network did not organize any new Wednesday-Thursday drama until mid-September. This means no drama series are lined up to be broadcast after the end of its new K-drama Daebak Real Estate.

On March 8, the production company, StudioS, announced through an official statement that the APRIL member will no longer play the role of the female lead in SBS s drama Taxi Driver. The agency also said that they have already finished filming 60% of the program. However, all those will be re-filmed with a new actress replacing APRIL Naeun. No further details about the artist s replacement were mentioned.
