Family Narrative Project seeks to share family histories through storytelling

For the women behind Family Narrative Project, family is not just what they do, but who they are. Laura Roselle, her daughter Savannah Tuttle, Roselle’s cousin’s wife Kim Winslow and Winslow’s sister Darlene O’Dell have owned and operated Family Narrative Project for about three years now. All four women, who have a history of teaching and a passion for storytelling, offer courses and one-on-one consulting to individuals interested in preserving their family histories in story form. The women are scattered around North and South Carolina – Roselle lives in Gibsonville, Tuttle just moved to Greensboro, Darlene O’Dell lives in Asheville and Kim lives in Columbia, South Carolina – where the majority of their clientele comes from, but their business has expanded as far as New York, Utah and Michigan.
