The company said it was planning to launch up to 20 games across platforms, including mobile, web3, VR and PC, in the next 18 months, with an investment of at least Rs 1 crore in each of those games.
Founded by Prashanth Vijay and Tamesh Sharma, Funstop Games claimed its games have seen over 50 million downloads and contributed over $4 million in revenues.
"The fall in operational costs should 100% impact the consumers, because at the end of the day, if operating costs are going to be lower, the benefit of the operating cost will be passed on to the customer. And that is what regulators, all the large institutions are pushing for."
