State Bank of India (SBI) has changed the opening and closing time of its branches amid the second COVID-19 wave in India. Customers are advised to visit the bank only if necessary as the bank will be open only for four hours 10 am to 2 pm till May 31, according to the Indian Banks Association.

In a tweet, SBI informed that it would be undertaking maintenance activities for its digital platform between 2:10 pm to 5:40 pm on Thursday.

The State Bank of India s net banking, mobile apps YONO and YONO Lite were hit on Thursday due to maintenance activities being carried out by the largest lender of the country. Customers also faced issues in doing transactions through Unified Payments Interface (UPI).
