(AFRICAN EXAMINER) – The chieftaincy wrangling in Ishi-ozalla Community, Nkanu West Council Area of Enugu State, South- East Nigeria, has aggravated as several members of the locality have disowned an Igweship (Kingship) election reportedly held recently.
The Community, has not known peace for some time now, following the Chieftaincy tussle in the land
Some aggrieved natives of the community, who described the purported election of a new traditional ruler in the area as unlawful, are urging the state government not to give credence to the process.
They made their position known during a peaceful protest and presentation of position letters to offices of some security organizations in the State as well as the Enugu State House of Assembly on Wednesday.
