(Harrisburg) –– Some state and federal lawmakers are holding tight to their view that the Pennsylvania Supreme Court improperly interfered in the 2020 election, further escalating tensions between the legislative and judicial branches that’s existed for years.
Simply tune into media outlets that cater to the conservative base, and you’ll find Pennsylvania’s handling of the election is still a hot topic. In late March, state Sen. Doug Mastriano (R-Adams County) talked about it with former President Donald Trump’s one-time lawyer, Jenna Ellis, on her Real America’s Voice TV show.
The pair focused on the state’s highest court during the segment.

Voters will go to the polls Tuesday for the Erick and Hammon School District Board of Education General Election and also Cities of Elk City, Erick and Sayre Council member General Election.
Those running for school board seats include Aubrey Christian and Clay Ivey in Hammon and Colby Holland and Justin Miller for the office number one seat on the Erick School Board. Also in Erick Michelle Cox and Robert Lee Williams will be squaring off for the office number three seat on the school board.
Voters in Erick will also be deciding who will occupy the council member seat in ward two. Mark T. Byrne and David Brinkley will be running against each other for that position.
Owego Woman Charged With Murder in Pa. Drug Overdose
An Owego woman is accused of causing another woman’s death in a drug overdose in Bradford County, Pennsylvania in January, 2020.
36-year-old Mindyn Marmillion was charged March 31 with murder, providing narcotics that resulted in death, manslaughter and assault.

Sayre police are still investigating the death of 33-year-old Ashley Richardson of Camillus at the Best Western motel on January 10, 2020.
Officials arrested other people who were in the hotel room the night Richardson died but just last week leveled the murder charge against the Tioga County woman.
Marmillion is being held in the Bradford County jail.
