(LEX 18) — Residents of some Kentucky long-term care facilities are now allowed indoor visitors after the Cabinet for Health and Family Services announced an easing of restrictions. At Sayre Christian Village, staff is working on a plan to allow indoor visitors at their qualifying facilities as soon as possible, while following all guidelines, said President Karen Venis The Cabinet for Health and Family Services will allow each resident one visitor, or two visitors from the same household, if they can prove they ve been vaccinated or had a negative COVID-19 test within the last 72 hours.
