Old Saybrook ― Police said a man died Saturday night after he drove his car into the water at Saybrook Point Marina.
Steven M. Wahle, 76, of Old Saybrook was pronounced dead at the Middlesex Medical .
The Guilford Fire Department’s Dive Team also went into the water to scope out the submerged vehicle and determined that Wahle, the driver, was the only person in the vehicle, police said.
