Madman Teases ‘Wicked City’ Blu-ray Anime Release
Part of their original slate of releases but now removed, Australian distributor Madman Entertainment previously listed a Blu-ray edition for the
Wicked City film with a planned March 3rd, 2021 release. They also listed a limited-edition double feature release of it with
Demon City Shinjuku. Both of those releases have now been pulled from Madman’s site but have the potential of being resolicited through the business end in a couple of weeks.
Wicked City:
The film was originally released in 1987 directed by Yoshiaki Kawajiro, who also served as the character designer. The film is based on the novels from Hideyuki Kikuchi that began in 1985.
