Experts at the Ministry of Health have responded to the anti-vaxxers claims today, contending that the sheer volume of vaccines administered over three point three billion doses worldwide should speak for itself. They say COVID vaccines in Belize are part of a global response and no one is experimenting on Belizeans.

“So far, worldwide, three point three billion doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered. And, unfortunately the countries that are having greater access to the vaccines are countries that are wealthy, and they are paying whatever cost the vaccine are sold to them. So, they are hoarding the vaccine. And, poor countries like ours, we are struggling to secure the little amount of vaccines that we need to cover our population.
