pelosi in the lame duck session get something across the board. you presume that republicans in the senate would stop that from happening. let s talk about speaker pelosi, mr. dowd. she has endorsed hakeem jeffries to take over her leadership role. does that mean it is? yeah, i think for all intents and purposes, it s his. to me, nancy pelosi has been a true servant leader for the 40 years and this. to me this was the ultimate act of a servant leader. which is step back from power, still serve, and give a place to a new generation of folks. i wish and i think hakeem jeffries will be the minority leader, i don t think there s any doubt in people s mind, that he will be a minority leader, but i wish other leaders in washington post would do that as well. there is a whole new generation of folks that are still not getting the social security checks that would like to serve in power and leaders.

things while in office was finally being surrounded by rich rich new yorkers like steve schwarzman, like like all who dropped kept him this week. what s your take on that? thank goodness they ve gotten their mind around something they should ve gotten the mind around a decade ago. but finally they have come to their senses. and that is going to hurt donald trump, i think. once steve schwarzman says, okay, you have my permission to no longer support this guy, i think a lot of rich wealthy republicans are gonna do the same thing. she tried forever. he had his nose pressed against the glass. one of the new yorker leads and he wanted to be on the front page of the new york times. i believe he was. but he never got access to that crowd. and then once he was in power, or suddenly they want his number. certainly they want to hang out. he wanted that legitimacy that he never got. coming to power gave him.

no one says that but matthew dowd. not thinking of the herding of quail, but the republicans who represent democratic districts, centrist republics, what are they gonna do if the gop immediately starts investigating joe biden, and rest to getting his family? are they going to be able to slow their role here a little bit? because if you take any sort of autopsy of the midterms, america said, let s just stop the crazy. i think they re gonna have very little power to do that because you re gonna have committees that are under a republican chairman that operate without the consent of the entire caucus. i think you re gonna see these investigations in some of these republican members distance themselves from those investigations. if there are efforts, potentially, to subpoena people. if there are efforts to put out reports. you may see them start to back
