THE Lord Mayor of Bradford has described feeling a sense of relief when she received her first Covid-19 vaccine at Bradford Royal Infirmary today. Councillor Doreen Lee (Keighley, Labour) attended her appointment alongside her 77-year-old husband and 21-year-old grandson who has Down s syndrome and other conditions. Volunteer vaccinator Savitri Cameron, a community matron, gave Cllr Lee her jab at the hospital s vaccination centre. Now she has teamed up with Bradford Teaching Hospital Trust to share the message, Grab the chance when the NHS calls you! .
