Community and the staff for engaging in this robust and exciting and inspiring process area i think it was actually said, this is a large piece of a larger equity displacement strategy. Its going to be an ongoing effort. Really grateful that we have made the progress that we have made, and really excited to see, and be involved in what is ahead. I also want to thank mr. Francis for including an equity assessment at the end of the presentation and bringing the work that is being done back to our land lens. I appreciate it. One of the Community Comment discuss homogenous architecture. What was discussed at that poi point . Did they define what they meant by that . Yeah, you know, actually on the slide come on that page, you know, a couple of comments wer were an architecture that is exclusive, like there is a lot of discussion about very glassy facades. Those are some of the comments we were hearing, during the community workshop. We didnt get into an end up discussion because we were no

Im sorry, to, you are saying that the deal that you presented today has been available since the last hearing . That is what you are saying . And that is something that you emailed to them, or how did that get communicated to united to save the mission . Weve got a lot of different folks operating the mission. Its a challenging environment. Challenging project sponsors. Challenging neighborhood groups. It is a very sensitive neighborhood. Up and until two weeks ago, there was lots of communication back and forth between larissa, her folks on the project sponsor. That communication was not going anywhere. It did not result in the acceptance of the agreement. In the last two weeks i have been conversations not directly between myself or the project sponsor, but there have been conversations were once again the deal was put in front of them, we are ready to go. We will sign it this morning, and our understanding is no. Thank you. I still dont understand it, because i took what we said her
The negotiations and the internal workings of the university there. Again, mcdonalds makes money from actually land leasing. They buy the land and then they get a tenant to be a franchisee. It looks like the aau is in the same boat as the people who own the university on the one hand through various llcs own the sites that in the future they can choose to sell off in different ways. They are not owned by the university. There has to be more scrutiny there. It is not a compact campus. This was not a very good chance for the public to weigh in before your review in october, but the fact about student debt, too, i want to reenforce that. The feds are starting to say if a school is producing a lot of debt and a lot of students who dont get jobs in thei
About shrinking a buffer that may or may not be applicable, but two weeks ago planning thought it was applicable then, and its kind of bizarre that they now do not think it is applicable. There is language in the code. Page 25 that literally says these controls shall also apply within one quarter mile. Somebody intended that when it was written. With that, why dont we hear from mr. Van helton. Think you chair peskin, members of the committee and supervisor brown. This is the original presentation plus some additional slides. Lets focus about what were talking about. Perfect. Just to recap, although i think you are really set the table great in terms of the buffer issues we are talking about. The goal here is to increase opportunities for retail, restaurants, nightlife witnesses and limited commercial uses. Ncone cluster districts, limited commercial districts. The same of wringing clarity and helping to simplify these buffers is an alignment with the Planning Department report a decade
