Several start-ups have set their sights on Savannah recently, due in part to the Savannah Logistics Technology Corridor (SLTC).
Established in 2018 to help cement the city’s place in the technology industry and grow investment, SLTC is already having a positive impact on the local industry.
The corridor designation was first approved by the Georgia Legislature during the 2018 session on the heels of a 2017 recommendation of a Senate study committee that looked at incentives for technology growth and for locations for corridors. Being a part of the SLTC community has many benefits for our logistics technology solutions, with access to logistics companies, talent in the sector and also the Port of Savannah within the Corridor, said Rachael E. Stevens CEO Collabgistics Inc. which aims to decrease and streamline the paperwork associated with shipping.
