A picture of a female peregrine falcon swooping on a brown pelican while protecting her young, taken by Jack Zhi, has won this year s Bird Photographer of the Year award.
Prior to this Nominations announcement, for the September 21 by election, the Penguin News did with a few interviews, a sample picture of Falkland Islands rural voters demands and concerns, among which, Stanley support for Camp, drought, improved communications and more engagement from representatives at the Legislative Assembly. PN also asked them if Camp voters felt happy for Stanley residents to represent them.
