2020
We entered 2020 with three key objectives: add additional assets, increase liquidity, and improve the investor experience. While the pandemic brought with it unforeseen challenges, I am encouraged by the progress we made. The list below highlights our top ten accomplishments.
tZERO Announces New Partnership With Prime Trust
tZERO, a blockchain-focused subsidiary of
Overstock.com (
Prime Trust, a blockchain-driven trust company.
According to tZERO, the new collaboration supports the custody of digital assets, including securities and cryptocurrencies, by users directly with Prime Trust. It also enables trading of such digital asset securities on the tZERO ATS, tZERO’s broker-dealer subsidiary. Additionally, tZERO ATS filed to support self-clearing for itself and its broker-dealer subsidiaries.
tZERO further revealed that it signed a technology integration agreement that allows Prime Trust to facilitate custody of digital securities and cryptocurrencies for its customers who trade such assets on platforms operated by tZERO’s regulated subsidiaries. It was then noted new infrastructure replaces reliance on third-party clearing firms, enables accelerated onboarding of new digital securities, improves the account funding process, and enhances the set
tZERO Says FlexTrade Integration Enables D.A. Davidson & Co. to Trade on ATS
tZERO, a wholly owned subsidiary of
Overstock (NASDAQ:OTCK), reports that it has integrated its broker-dealer with
FlexTrade, an execution and order management platform, and thus
D.A. Davidson & Co. may commence trading on the tZERO ATS.
Davidson customers are now able to trade Overstock’s Series A-1 shares (OSTKO). tZERO says its ATS now has seven active subscribers and has signed two additional agreements with progressive broker-dealers interested in trading digital securities.
