Sauk Rapids Facebook Southside Park this summer with a ten week concert series. The series is called Rock the Riverside, and each week will feature a warm up band with a two and a half hour headliner performance. Southside Park is at 103 River Avenue South in Sauk Rapids. It is located on the bank of the Mississippi River and was adjacent to the old Sauk Rapids Bridge that was removed in 2007. Southside Park is the southernmost of the river parks and is the starting point of the paved trail that links the four river parks. Performances are Thursday nights starting July 1st with Paul Diethelm and Stretch opening and Strange Daze as the headlining act.
