Sauk Centre Police Asking Public To Voluntarily Conserve Water
Let s face it, lawns are looking pretty brown these days. It might be tempting to let your sprinkler run wild in your yard during the drought, but local authorities are asking you to voluntarily conserve water.
The Sauk Centre Police Department took to Facebook to ask the public to hold back from using more water than they need to right now by sharing a photo from the Sauk Centre Public Utilities.

The photo reads: The most effective way to sustain our water supply is to limit nonessential uses such as watering lawns and washing vehicles. SCPUC recommends limiting outdoor water use to twice a week. These recommendations will keep our water levels sufficient during this drought for essential uses, such as drinking, cooking and cleaning.
