Saudi Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture Eng. Abdulrahman Al-Fadhli visited the Reverse Osmosis Plant in Jubail, the world's largest, and was briefed on the workflow of the production system (1 million m3/day). This is one of the major projects implemented by the Saline Water Conversion Corporation (SWCC), and the largest of its kind in the world using reverse osmosis technology with the lowest energy consumption, of 2.7 kWh/m3.

Abdul Rahman Al-Fadhli, Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Water Partnerships Company, officially inaugurated the Jubail 3A independent water desalination plant (Jazlah Water Desalination Company).
