KSrelief s Masam Project Dismantles 826 Mines in Yemen in a Week

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center's (KSrelief) Masam Project, dedicated to clearing mines in Yemen, successfully dismantled 826 mines in the third week of December 2023, reported the Saudi Press Agency on Monday. The tally includes five anti-personnel mines, 116 anti-tank mines, 681 unexploded ordnance, and one explosive device. A total of 426,090 mines have been dismantled since the project’s inception.

Governor of Aseer Region and Chairman of Aseer Development Authority “ASDA” Prince Turki bin Talal bin Abdulaziz oversaw the announcement of SEVEN’s fifth entertainment destination in the Kingdom and the first in the Aseer region, reported the Saudi Press Agency on Sunday. With an investment value of more than SAR 1.3 billion, the entertainment destination is strategically located between the cities of Abha and Khamis Mushait, near Abha International Airport. The development is set on a land size of 64,000 square meters with a built-up area of more than 79,000 square meters.

Saudi Arabia unveiled its pavilion design and logo for Expo 2025 Osaka, reported the Saudi Press Agency on Wednesday. The unveiling took place at a Saudi-hosted Cultural Gala dinner at Osaka's River Dojima Forum, held under the patronage of Minister of Culture Prince Bader bin Abdullah bin Farhan Al Saud. The event, held on the sidelines of the Expo 2025 Osaka International Participants Meeting in Osaka, was attended by Mayor of Osaka Hideyuki Yokoyama and government delegates from Japan, Saudi Arabia, and officials from other Expo 2025 Osaka participant countries.
