Right now it is only 7 percent contained. The fire has destroyed two dozen buildings. Berkeleys family camp has been destroyed. The fire has exploded in size and now burned 203 square miles, the size of the city of chicago and left one camp in the bay area in ruins. The rim fire is only 7 percent contained and 2,500 firefighters are battling the blaze. Sundays strong winds pushed the monster fire closer to the northwest edge of Yosemite National park.
