Saudi Arabia’s aviation authority announced on Friday that direct flights will start from Dammam to Najaf, Iraq, from June 1, strengthening the bond between the two countries. This move is part of Saudi Arabia’s plan to increase its aviation capacity, aiming to serve more than 330 million passengers annually, with over 250 destinations worldwide. Najaf will be the third destination in Iraq for Saudi flights, alongside Baghdad and Erbil, supporting easier travel between the two nations and boosting aviation cooperation.
