RIYADH: A delegation headed by Chairman of the Saudi Space Commission Abdullah Al-Swaha visited NASA’s Kennedy Space Center during an official visit to the US, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Wednesday. JEDDAH: A far-reaching research and development deal to advance space technologies has been signed between two industry leaders from Saudi Arabia and the US. The agreement, aimed at boosting innovation, and the space and digital economy, was inked on Monday in Washington, D.C. on the sidelines of an official visit to America by a high-level delegation from the Kingdom.
During bilateral meetings, Eng. Al-Swaha reviewed ways to enhance relations between the two friendly countries, and opportunities for joint cooperation in light of the Kingdom Vision 2030.
Dr. Al-Tamimi said that the progress witnessed by the communications and information technology sector in Saudi Arabia reflects the interest and support the wise leadership lends for this vital sector and reflects the close follow up of minister of communications and information technology, who is also chairman of CITC.
