Gaya: A man named Satyendra Manjhi is earning praise nowadays for a contribution he made towards conserving the environment. On his own altogether, he planted around 10,000 trees to create a guava orchard in a waste barren land on the banks of the River Phalgu in Bihar.
This project started 15 years ago and was hard at work to complete. What inspired him to do this was a visit made by the famous mountain man Dashrath Manjhi, who became famous for carving a road out of a mountain for 22 straight years.
