DPS Srinagar Offers Reward, Scholarship To Meritorious Ganderbal Girl
SRINAGAR: Delhi Pubilc School Srinagar has awarded the Satya Devi Amla Prize and a two year fully funded scholarship to Parveena Ayoub of Ganderbal who scored 490 out of 500 in her class X examination despite of all hardships and struggles. The award carries a cash prize of Rs 50000.

Parveena’s father, Ayoub, has to support a family of six including his four daughters and wife and the family lives in a single – room tin shed with the minimum source of income. Coming from a financially weak background, Parveena soared through all the hardships and with perseverance and efforts, she managed to secure good grades by living in a single tin room with her siblings & parents.
