South Korea reported a record high of 383,665 daily Covid-19 cases as of midnight Friday compared to 24 hours ago, raising the total number of infections to 6,206,277, the health authorities said Saturday.
Ministry of Public Health reported on Saturday (March 12) that there are 24,592 new patients who tested positive for Covid-19, 52 of whom have arrived in Thailand from abroad.
The Philippines' Department of Health (DOH) reported 655 new Covid-19 infections on Saturday, bringing the number of confirmed cases in the South-East Asian country to 3,670,177.
Daily new Covid-19 infections and hospitalisations in Singapore fell again, with 12,632 new cases and 1,375 people in hospital on Saturday (March 12), said the Ministry of Health (MOH) in its nightly update.
