Abbie Chatfield is taking her single life in stride as she admits to uploading more and more racy pictures and videos to Instagram. She recently confirmed her split from her ex-boyfriend.
An interest in insects and a passion for helping others led 12-year-old Abbie Krevolin, of Bensalem, to embark on a project that transformed from raising endangered species at her house to creating a full-scale butterfly garden in her town.
At 6 years old, Abbie learned that the monarch butterfly was at risk of becoming extinct, so she quickly took action. She began raising, tagging and releasing captive-reared wild monarch butterflies. Then, in 2017, Abbie launched Mission: Monarch with the intention of someday registering it as a nonprofit organization to help spread the word about monarchs and the ways people can help.
A few short years later, Abbie is in the final stages of building a “monarch waystation” and pollinator garden in Bensalem.
